Raina Bembry, MD

Dr. Raina Bembry is a dedicated dermatologist at Integrated Dermatology of Fairfax, where she treats medical dermatology and skin cancer. She is particularly passionate about treating skin of color and pediatric dermatology, demonstrating a deep commitment to addressing the unique needs of diverse patient populations. 

 

Born and raised in northern, New Jersey, Dr. Bembry's journey in medicine began with a strong academic foundation. She attended the University of Miami in Miami, FL, where she double majored in Marine Science and Biology, complemented by a minor in Chemistry. Dr. Bembry earned her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC, where she developed a deep appreciation for the DMV area and serving its community.  

 

She finished her internship at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey. She then completed a clinical research fellowship in Contact Dermatitis at Duke Medical Center in Durham, NC. During this time, she made significant contributions to the field by authoring and co-authoring several articles in renowned scientific journals. She completed her dermatology residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center where she served as chief resident, showcasing her leadership and commitment to patient care.  

 

Dr. Bembry's passion for dermatology is evident in her dedication to helping patients achieve their skin goals, a commitment she will uphold at Integrated Dermatology of Fairfax. Dr. Bembry is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Skin of Color Society and Women’s Dermatologic Society. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. 

 

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Bembry enjoys a range of activities that enrich her personal life. She is an avid traveler, a passionate reader, dedicated runner, and loves exploring new cuisines.
