Dr. Rebecca Satoskar MD grew up in Minnesota alongside the Mississippi River. She graduated as the valedictorian of her high school class and went on to attend the University of Notre Dame for her undergraduate work. Here she studied pre-med, completed an honors thesis in psychology, and graduated summa cum laude. She attended the University of Chicago Medical School where she was elected into Alpha Omega Alpha, an honor signifying a lasting commitment to scholarship, leadership, professionalism, and service which no more than 15% of all medical students achieve. She also received the American Medical Women’s Association Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Achievement Citation that is awarded to women in the top 10% of the graduating class. Dr. Satoskar completed her internship in internal medicine at the University of Chicago and her dermatology residency at University of California— Los Angeles and the University of Chicago. She is a board certified dermatologist, and after completing her training, was in private practice and served on faculty at the Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. In 2009, Dr. Satoskar moved to the Washington, DC area and has been active in the local dermatology community since. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and a member of the Washington DC Dermatological Society. Dr. Satoskar now serves in a leadership role as Medical Director of Integrated Dermatology of Fairfax and looks forward to many years of service in the community. When not in the office, Dr. Satoskar is an avid student of vinyasa yoga and enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters.
Kelley Pagliai Redbord, M.D. is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in Mohs micrographic surgery, skin cancer, dermatologic surgery, cosmetic surgery, hyperhidrosis, and laser medicine.
Dr. Redbord, born and raised in Maryland, received her Bachelor of Science degree at Duke University where she graduated cum laude and her medical degree from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. After completing her dermatology residency as chief resident at the University of Cincinnati, Dr. Redbord was accepted as a fellow in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Procedural Dermatology at the Laser and Skin Surgery Center of Indiana under the mentorship of Dr. C. William Hanke.
Dr. Redbord is an active member and holds leadership roles in the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Medical Association, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American College of Mohs Surgery, the Women’s Dermatologic Society, the Washington, D.C. Dermatologic Society, and the International Hyperhidrosis Society. She is an Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology at The George Washington University.
Dr. Redbord has presented original research at local and national conferences and written many articles on topics such as skin cancer, injectable fillers, photodynamic therapy, liposuction, facial nerve blocks, anesthesia, and laser medicine. Dr. Redbord has testified before governmental bodies including the Food and Drug Administration and has met with members of Congress in support of numerous dermatological issues.
When Dr. Redbord is not practicing dermatology you can probably find her running. Dr. Redbord has completed 29 marathons and counting.
Dr. Urvi Gonzales is a board-certified dermatologist skilled in medical and cosmetic dermatology. Specific areas of expertise include: detection and removal of skin cancers; diagnosis and treatment of acne, psoriasis, and other inflammatory skin conditions; and development of anti-aging strategies and treatments including injectables and lasers.
She graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology. Following a research year at Harvard Medical School, she was chosen to attend a Dartmouth-Brown combined medical program, eventually earning her medical degree from Brown Medical School. She then spent an additional research year at Northwestern University prior to starting her internship at the University of Illinois in Chicago. She finalized her residency training in dermatology at the University of Rochester, New York.
Dr. Gonzales has authored or co-authored multiple publications in scientific journals. She has presented her research at various national conferences, including the annual conference of the American Academy of Pediatric Dermatology, the American Academy of Dermatopathology, and the American Academy of Dermatology. She is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Dr. Gonzales appreciates that every person is unique, with unique skincare challenges and goals. She enjoys getting to know and understand each of her patients, and is motivated by problem solving. Her goal is to efficiently deliver successful treatment plans tailored to the needs of each individual patient.
Originally from northern New Jersey, Dr. Gonzales has now made Washington D.C./northern Virginia her home. In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two young daughters.
Samantha is a certified Physician Assistant born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She attended The Pennsylvania State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Genetics. After working as direct support for adults with physical and mental disabilities in Northeast Philadelphia for some time after undergrad, she attended Salus University in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania and graduated with a Master of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant studies. Throughout her education, she always held a special interest in the field of dermatology, and moved to Richmond, Virginia in 2013 to pursue it further. Most recently, she has moved to Northern VA to join the team at Integrated Dermatology of Fairfax. Samantha is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants, and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as experiencing her new surroundings.
Maham is a board-certified Physician Assistant from Springfield, Virginia. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. During her four years as an undergraduate student, she was awarded the Dean’s List, and led medical mission trips to Panama and Nicaragua to build healthcare clinics for the underserved communities. She also devoted four summers researching at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. Maham spent the next year working as a medical assistant at Integrated Dermatology of Fairfax, where she developed her passion for skin care. She pursued her Masters of Medical Science at Tufts School of Medicine. There, she completed a rigorous 25-month program which included several clinical rotations in Boston, Massachusetts. Maham also completed two rotations here at Integrated Dermatology, where she further solidified her training. To finish her education, Maham completed a research project focusing on diet and acne, which she presented to the Tufts Medical community. Maham is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. During her free time, Maham enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her cat!
